1. OATS-



Oats are considered most important source of vitamins, minerals and fibres. Oats are also known as most healthy grains on earth.

It contains beta-glucan fiber which reduces cholesterol levels. Beta-glucan also reduces circulating levels of cholesterol in the blood.

So,you should have oats once in a day.

2.NUTS-



Nuts has important role in improving the lining of arteries and it reduces blood clots, thereby reducing the chances of heart attack.

Almonds, macadamia nuts, hazelnuts and pecans are healthy for heart.

You should stick to dry-roasted nuts other than nuts cooked in oil. You can reduce the chances of heart attack by including Nuts in the diet.

3. BERRIES-



Berries have high fiber contents, vitamin C,  antioxidants and low calories. Black raspberries reduces the blood pressure and blood cholesterol.

Strawberries can reduce the chances of heart attack by almost 28%. Blueberries reduced the risk of hypertension by 10 percent.

Blue and blackberries contains Anthocyanins which increases good cholesterol or and lowers the bad cholesterol.

4. VEGETABLES-



Asparagus contains vitamin B6 which reduces homocysteine (amino acid type) which has connection with heart disease.

Tomatoes contains lycopene which prevents us from heart disease.

Leafy Greens contains Magnesium which reduces the chances of heart failure.

Garlic, onion, potatoes, carrots are also healthy for heart.

5. FISH-



It is suggested that you should have fish rich in unsaturated fats at least twice a week.

Omega-3 fatty acids are the unsaturated fats in fish which gives a plus point to heart function and  reduces the inflammation in the body which can decreases the chances of heart disease.

Salmon, Cod, Sardine, Herring are some of the omega-3-rich fishes.

6. COFFEE-



Coffee is not only famous for its Aroma but also for it's active compounds and vitamins.

Consuming four cups of coffee a day can have a positive effect on protection of cardiovascular cells from damage and it also help them to repair .

Caffeine may improve the health of the cells which line the arteries and veins.

7. FRUITS-



An apple a day keeps doctor away. 
You may have heart it before.

Apples contains phytochemical known as  Quercetin which acts as a natural anti-inflammatory agent. It also help to prevent clotting of blood.

You should include citrus fruits in your diet which are high in vitamin C, and has a connection with a lower risk of heart disease.

Apple, Apricots, banana, berries, kiwi, are best for heart.

8. DARK CHOCOLATE-


Who in this world hates chocolate??. 
I think no one. If you love chocolate then you will be happy to know that it is good for your heart health.

 It lowers blood pressure, Improves blood flow to the heart, gives feelings of relaxation and well-being and Lower bad LDL cholesterol level.

It contains antioxidants called flavonols which are healthy for heart.

9. GREEN TEA-



Green tea has many benefits such as fat burning and increasing sensitive of insulin.

Epigallocatechin gallate popularly known as EGCG  can help prevent atherosclerosis. It also decreases both systolic and diastolic blood pressure.

 If you have a cup of green tea every day then congrats!!!.

10. LEGUMES AND PULSES-


A pulse is an edible seed that grows in a pod.

Legumes and Pulses decreases the chances of Cardiovascular disease, Coronary Heart Disease, Hypertension and Obesity.


Try to include Chickpeas , Lentils , Pinto beans , Navy Beans in your diet.
